From Brighton beach to Primrose hill, from Clapham common to Battersea Park, we all have many places that we associate with good times and fun in the sun. At Graffiti Breakz this August we’re bringing them all to one place…The Rhythm Factory

Whether it’s raining outside or blistering heat, the summer months should be about fun and frolics so that’s why Graffiti Breakz is all about The Spirit of Summer. We’re encapsulating the season, with this instalment, bringing you features and artists that just reek of good vibes and outside antics.

On a roll with Bassline Samurai, The Battle and The Resurrection we’re pushing out all the stops for this one again.

We will be transforming the Rhythm Factory into a haven of all things summer. With our interpretation of a park in room one complete with grass, trees, a park bench and the local drunk; and a beach in room two with a sunset, sea and sangria. Those of you at The Battle and the Resurrection will see how extensive our decor can be. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable circumstances our interior designer could not be there at the last minute for Bassline Samurai, so we couldn’t create the full rose garden the way we wanted to, so we’re making up for it at this event, and really going to town. Expect to walk into a summer wonderland. The venue itself will smile!

**********************

Taking us through the full spectrum of summer; alongside the hardcore influenced, nu-rave of DJ Disowned and the Tear-out break, 4 Deck Craziness, of Skinny & Clarkie, the Graffiti Breakz team will be joined by an epic summer line up…

**DJ Disowned: http://www.myspace.com/djdisowned
**Skinny & Clarkie: http://www.soundcloud.com/sncaudio

**True Ingredients – Full 3 hour live Full Band Performance!!!!
http://www.trueingredients.com/

Expect an explosion of Rhymes and river like flows, from the unique and impeccable vocal talents of BluRum13, Aina and Mr Milk, backed up by keyboards, decks and percussion from Fenna Rhodes, guitars from Josh Wah, bass from Millzy and drums from Steve O, all tighter than a festivals front row.

Having hosted their own stage at Glastonbury, performed in Trafalgar Square for London Peace Week, dominated the London fashion week after parties, crowd surfed to people losing their minds at TMBase 09 Festivals, and rocking out in all the corners of Europe’ Canada’ USA and Asia on the way, it’s an amazing honour to have the full blown summer hip-hop, funk live performance, DJ on the Graffiti Breakz stage.

With some of the freshest sounds around, they take this to off the stage too. They have pioneered a new way of getting their music out there. They are the first band ever to release their debut album on a pair of sunglasses….Yes Sunglasses!!

The album “Prepare and Assemble” is available in ten magnificent colours from www.trueingredients.com and selected retailers. Go to their website to see how this works, it’s ingenious!!

This special 3 hour spectacle will be a real stand up show of exactly what True Ingredients are all about! Expect a full onslaught of energy and good vibes.

True Ingredients will be touring the new single “Who’s Next” in the UK, Europe, Canada, USA and Asia throughout 2010. Get to a show, get some shades, and get involved.

**A Dominant Species – ST FU Records
http://www.myspace.com/adominantspecies

Tear out at its funky best!! Dom Almond, Special A and Anya join forces to create a Tear out breaks trio that really does do exactly what it says on the tin, Dominate! With influences from 70’s funk, to deep and dirty D&B, their grimy yet melodic sound has gained adulation from around the globe.

With a respect from across the Atlantic, throughout Europe and home alike, a dominant species have been pushing Tear out breaks with the big players. Producing hard hitting floor filling, sharing stages with the likes of Audio Bullies, Seb Fontaine, Annie Mac, Plump DJ’s, Way out West and many more has put ADS on the map. Dom Almond smashed the stage at Graffiti Breakz back in 2008, with a stupidly good set, and we’re 100% sure A Dominant species will smash it even further.

**Kouncil House & SirReal
http://www.myspace.com/kouncilhouse

Kouncil House is one of the brightest producers of 2010 so far. With what seems like a brand new belter every week, he is receiving high recognition from all over the globe. His Booty Belter, Pass the Pepper has been in the bag of many a top flight DJ for some time and still get’s spun around the globe on regular basis.

With airplay on Radio 1 and collaborations with Mickey Finn, Leeroy Thornhill and D’Cruze under his belt already, and now teaming up with SirReal in his latest collaboration, 2010 is looking to be a huge year for Kouncil House.

SirReal is a true legend in the industry, and respected by many. Currently working with Freestylers on tracks such as painkiller and fast life, he has performed with the best and brings an energy and liveliness to a stage that is second to none!

**Voodootronix
http://www.myspace.com/voodootronix
Having founded one of East London’s most long standing squat parties, 491 gallery, producing for over 6 years, and rocking parties behind the decks for over a decade, Robin ‘Voodootronix’ Eden has gained a lot of respect in the drum and bass for his full, beefy, hard-hitting, soft roiling D&B. Needless to say when Voodootronix is on the decks, expect technical prowess, pretension free beats but most importantly, expect to dance till your feet bleed!

**James D’Lay – TOP 5 BEST BREAKTRHOUGH DJ @ BREAKSPOLL 2010
http://www.myspace.com/jdley

Things have blown out of all proportion for D’lay in 2010, having become a resident at Supercharged, free bass and Battle jam was just the start for James in 2010. Now adding the Breakspoll award nomination, and Ibiza tour, Waveform and the Isle of white festival and International exposure to his resume, James is full steam ahead and pushing it every time. Taking time out of his national gigs, James joins us with his nu-skool heavy breaks vibe to keep the party stomping, before jetting off to Portugal later this year.

With three decks in effect, mashing up styles and vibes with the best , James D’lay is wowing crowds with effortless blending every time! Sharing a stage with the Mighty Plump DJ’s, is a sure sign that James is mixing with the big boys, and more is yet to come for 2010.

**Apply The Breaks – Resident legends
http://www.applythebreaks.com/

You all know the drill with Apply the Breaks – Fun, Energetic and ridiculously skilful! They’ve been residents since we came to the Rhythm Factory, and every show gets better and better. Fast becoming one of the main attraction on any line up, be Graffiti Breakz or Waveform, Raindance or Epidemik; these boys know how to rock any party….but I guess you know that by now!

**Jurassik – Supatronix
http://www.facebook.com/jurassikpark

Having been at the forefront of the Breaks scene for over a decade with two Breakspoll nominated events Cryonix, and more recently the legendary Supatronix, plus being the man behind the pulse fingering Thisisbreaks.com, Jurassik is a headmaster when it comes to break beat. His tune selection is always fresh, and sets are always fun and he brings an element of Supatronix with him to every set, so expect good vibes.

**Hertzian – Rare Beef
http://www.facebook.com/hertzian

The driving force of HERTZIAN is bass!! Sam Willott and Simon Bains are one of the hottest teams on the club circuit today; they have some of the grimiest, uplifting and totally original music to hit the scene. With Willott’s background in Drum n Bass, Hard House and Breaks, combined with Bains’ Trance, Hip-Hop, Folk and Rock influences, their tunes are heavy, creative and unique. With soundtracks on the cards, and festivals on the horizon, these two are a force to be reckoned with, and always get a party stomping.

**Sargy & Raggamuffin – Jungle Syndicate
http://www.myspace.com/junglesyndicate

Two of the big brothers in the Jungle Syndicate family, Sargy & Raggamuffin have been maintaining a love of traditional jungle for years. Having hosted some of the freshest talent in the scene, Jungle syndicate has gained a reputation for being an up front, in your face night of jungle and beats for all the family. The boys now bring their signature sound and style to the Graffiti Breakz stage again, ready to make the room bounce till the early hours.

**Lukozade – Raindance
Lukozade has been gracing the decks of the greats for years, from Moondance to Raindance passing Tranzmission on the way. He has been on the biggest stages, played with the biggest names, and remix for the masters. Lukozade now returns to Graffiti Breakz after far too long. Having smashed the stage a number of times at the purple turtle, formerly a filth monkey, the master of old-skool and the veteran of nu-skool, Lukozade will never disappoint.

Charlie Cutta – Braindrop

Having Smashed Braindrop at The Fridge last month, Charlie has been making a name for himself as a jump up, bass heavy party influenced ridiculously perceptive DJ. Know the crowd, and dropping belters from start to Finish, and reworks galore, his sets are always fun bursting with energy.

Hosts
MC Cutter // MC SirReal // MC Agman // K.I.D

**!!*Features*!!**

The features for this event call for skill, precision, commitment, rhythm and audience participation. We have a number of different activities that you might see going on in park or on a beach. Now considering the Rhythm factory is not actually a park or a beach it’s been quite tricky coming up with ideas of what we can bring to a club environment from the park and beach, but we think we’ve got a good array of summer fun and skill filled entertainment for you to watch and have a go at…

**Freestyle Football.
If you’ve seen Ronaldo in full swing, and watched Pele leave defenders in the dust, you’ll have some idea of what to expect from freestyle football. Keepie-Uppies that we the boys used to do in the playgrounds as a kid, and the girls used to wonder “why on earth”. Well this is what it can lead to!! The skill, control and accuracy needed for this is immense, and it’s sight to behold to see how fast the feet move.

**Hoola Hoop
Ever thought you had good hip movement? Kidded yourself that you can wind like no one else?? Think again, Charlene ‘Hoola’ Davis will show you how it’s done! The grace, skill and rhythm needed to perform the way she does is epic. With a raw street vibe, and ballet elegant movement, even J Lo would be in awe of the way Charlene can move.
Wiggle with the rest – Get Involved:
You will have a chance to get involved and show what you can do. Try your hand at Hoola, learn from the best, and see how much fun it can be. The GB team will be giving it a go, and trying our hand at it. Jump in and join us in the fun and festivities.

**Tug of War
For centuries disputes have been decided by the rope. Only this time it’s not land or possessions at stake. Tugging their way to the Graffiti Breakz hall of fame, pulling for their pride and respect, will be 5 selected artists from the Spirit of Summer Line up. For your chance to pull against the pride hungry Musicians and a chance to win Free Entry for you and a friend, Exclusive Graffiti Breakz Tug of War T-Shirts, Exclusive Trackitdown.net merchandise, CD’s, Free Member ship and loads more goodies, check out the competition details below.

CFX is suppling the visual treats once again to Graffiti Breakz.

In a world of Swords, Nun-Chucks, Dragons and Kimono’s there are but a few things that define a true Samurai. Primarily a true Samurai is a Warrior with reckless bravery, fierce family pride and a selfless, sometimes senseless, devotion of their art and Master. It’s this dedication, passion, focus, training and constant progression that has inspired Graffiti Breakz, Bass line Samurai.
